Volunteering Opportunities at shmu

'Pop Ups' in local communities will show what's on offer

'Pop Ups' in local communities will show what's on offer

We're looking for new volunteers to get involved with shmuPRESS, shmuFM and shmuTV.

We're passionate about hearing your stories, covering topics that are important to you and your community, and sharing these through print, radio, TV and online.

We challenge mainstream media messaging by supporting our communities to learn media skills that empower them to share and celebrate news important to their lives.

We're looking for new volunteers to get involved with shmuPRESS, shmuFM and shmuTV.

If you live in Woodside, Tillydrone, Seaton, Torry, Mastrick, Northfield, Cummings Park, or Middlefield - come down to one of our 'Pop Ups' in your local area to find out more and get involved!

shmuPRESS

shmuPRESS supports our local communities to create their own magazines. We work with community members and groups to cover topics and local issues important to them and to celebrate their communities. There are a variety of volunteering roles available, and you can learn how to source and write stories, take photographs, research, interview and edit.
